Traco Power DC-DC Converter, Unregulated, 2W Power Rating - TMV 2HI Series - TMV 2-24159DHI
To keep your switching devices ticking over, turn to this Traco Power DC-DC converter. The unit is specifically designed for IGBT applications, so provides equipment such as air-conditioners and refrigerators with a reliable voltage supply. Thanks to an isolation voltage of 5.2kV DC, you can rest assured no power faults are carried from the converter's input to its output. As this product meets EN 60950-1 safety standards for IT equipment, it's a practical choice for powering equipment in your data and communication centre.
Features & Benefits
• Continuous short circuit protection to minimise the risk of power faults causing damage
• Mean time between failures of over 1 million hours for reliability throughout its extended lifespan
• Non-conductive plastic casing offers protection against electric shocks
• Meets UL 94V-0 flammability standards, so burns for a maximum of 10 seconds in the event of a fire
Applications
• Consumer appliances
• Heating and cooling equipment
• Automotive manufacturing
• Industrial motors
Does this DC-DC converter need fan cooling?
The unit runs at 75% efficiency, so produces minimal waste heat. That means natural convection cooling is sufficient and there's no need to mount a fan.
